Subscription & Billing Terms

These Subscription & Billing Terms apply to paid plans for Aletheia Core and supplement our Terms of Service. These terms comply with the California Automatic Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §§ 17600–17606).

1. Plans & Pricing

• Community (Free): Open-source self-hosted. No account required.
• Free (Free): 1,000 Sovereign Audit Receipts per month. No payment required. No automatic conversion to a paid plan.
• Scale ($19/month): 25,000 verified decisions per month. Billed monthly as a recurring charge via Stripe.
• Pro ($49/month): 100,000 verified decisions per month. Billed monthly as a recurring charge via Stripe.
• PAYG: $0.00049 per secured decision. Metered through Stripe.
• Enterprise (Custom): Custom pricing by arrangement. Contact info@aletheia-core.com.

2. Recurring Charges & Consent

Clear disclosure: The Scale plan is a recurring monthly subscription at $19 USD per month and the Pro plan is a recurring monthly subscription at $49 USD per month, charged to the payment method you provide at checkout. PAYG usage is metered at $0.00049 USD per secured decision.

Affirmative consent: By clicking "Subscribe" at checkout, you affirmatively consent to the recurring charge described above. Your subscription will automatically renew each month until cancelled.

3. Free Trial

The Free plan does not require a payment method. There is no automatic conversion from the Free plan to a paid plan. You must explicitly choose to upgrade and provide payment information to start a paid subscription.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your Scale, Pro, or PAYG subscription at any time by:

• Using the Stripe customer portal (linked from your dashboard)
• Contacting us at info@aletheia-core.com

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain paid access until then. After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan with free-tier quotas.

5. Refunds

• If you cancel within the first 14 days of your initial Scale or Pro subscription, you may request a full refund by contacting us.
• After the 14-day period, no prorated refunds are provided for partial months.
• Refund requests should be directed to info@aletheia-core.com.

6. Price Changes

We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via email before any price increase takes effect. You may cancel before the price change applies. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

7. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.We do not store your credit card number or payment credentials. Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy apply to the processing of your payment data.

8. Failed Payments

If a recurring payment fails, Stripe will retry the charge per its retry schedule. If payment cannot be collected after repeated attempts, your subscription may be cancelled and your account reverted to the Free plan.
